I’ve posted a couple of videos I shot during my Gold Speed Run on the brand new Ghostlands server in February 2008.
They’re kind of long and rambling , but I think they’ll give you a pretty good idea of what’s coming up in the Massive Gold Blueprint.

I really like your videos! You are really good at doing this. I think in your spare time you should come do your magic on Dethecus Alliance and then give me all the gold you make…. its a good idea and you know it.

Also if you are ever in Dethecus Alliance you should look up Haldiir. Thats my main toon.

Wich programms and hardware do you use making those videos and the drawings making on the video’s?

The basic routine for getting stuff to sell at the start: you mine Copper, and skin Light Leather (level one character up to level 7/8 for this), mail the stuff to your auction house toon, sell at the going rate. Repeat until you have 5g - 10g. That’s enough to get started.

Great, I’m sure you will enjoy the videos (12+ hours!).
To make the vids, I use Camtasia software (by TechSmith). It captures video and has quite a lot of production and post production tools (like the drawing pen). Using it on a crappy PC, I really need to upgrade.

But what i don’t get is how do you start a level 9 toon and have 5g + and start selling things.. I’ve started selling recipes from STORMWIND but is that the only stuff i get to sell?

Getting started is actually really easy. After you set up a couple of Level 1’s at the auction houses (including Neutral AH in Booty Bay), you make a character that mines Copper and skins Light Leather. You do just enough of that to get 5g - 10g, and you’re good to go.
It takes very little time to do this set-up work, basically just leveling up to level 7/8, then doing a couple of quick mining circuits. On most servers that’s enough to get going.
But even if the market is really weak on your server, the worst that can happen is you spend an extra couple of hours mining and skinning.
There’s tons of other stuff to buy from Vendors and sell for profit. The video is just a little example to show how easy it is. Your level 1’s can buy good stuff in Ironforge, Booty Bay, The Exodar, Undercity, Thunder Bluff, Orgrimmar, Silvermoon City etc. And it’s not just Recipes.
And of course you will be buying stuff on the Auction House too.
By the 3rd week, you’ll be a tycoon trading in Fel Armaments, Void Crystals, and high-end Herbs

So are you basically seeling small stuff at the start and then working your way up to the big gold stuff to earn gold?
Yes, that’s exactly it Kole.
The other crucial thing is: you make getting Gold a whole separate “mini game” that doesn’t interfere with your main characters. Playing your mains is a lot more fun when you don’t have to waste time worrying about Gold.

Just to say I like your video and to sujest that is better the AH in Silvermoon City because the mail box is next to the AH.
I’m trying to find one for horde? Like, where can I find the things like what you sell in Undercity or Silvermoon? You have one showing things exactly for alliance so I thought I would join to maybe find one for horde… do you have one?
I really like your idea though
coilfang horde is a battlefield many peoples tips dont even work the ah is horrible.IVe used 50 various tricks to no avail. IF you could do what i call mission impossible that would impress me

Omar: I prefer Undercity rather than Silvermoon, because there are plenty of items you can buy from Vendors in Undercity and start making instant profits on them. More than 20 items with good potential. Silvermoon doesn’t have anywhere near as much opportunity. But if you have enough character slots in your account, it’s good to add a Silvermoon alt too

Meghann - the Blueprint covers both Horde and Alliance in equal detail. There are particular opportunities on each side, as well as hundreds of tactics that work equally well for both.

FFS - my Blueprint method works on all servers, no matter how “difficult” the economy seems. I haven’t looked at Coilfang, but I’m sure I would find plenty of profits, one way or another.

I try to answer every question that comes my way. But obviously, I’m not going to literally spend time with you personally telling you what to do in your own game.

Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing this stuff online! I have been playing for a little over 2 years and it is very difficult to try to gather money, especially with my main being a priest, which I am not the fondest of playing.
I really only play on one server, Staghelm, on alliance, and you are most welcome to come check us out sometime. XD

how do u get such high items like orb of deception at such low lvl
Hey Bill -
In the Blueprint, I show you exactly how to start with new rolled characters (level 1) and accumulate 100g or more in the first week. Basically, you make a new character, get the toon up to level 5/6, go mine some copper and skin some leather for about an hour, and sell the stuff in the auction house. This gives you 2g - 10g, depending ont the server.
Then you use the little bit of gold you earned to buy some high-profit items from vendors in the major cities (Stormwind, Undercity mostly), and sell them in the auction house for 10 times what you pay. By the end of the week, you will have 50g - 100g and it’s very easy.
From there on, the Blueprint tells you how to make large amounts of gold by playing the auction house the smart way. Obviously, I can’t tell you everything here… the Blueprint is 20 hours of video, showing you what to do.

but how do you get items from alliance to hord?
i tried with an alliance and hord caractor at booty bay, but it said that i could not bid on my own auction. am i doing it wrong? or is there another way?

Hi Meg - to trade between Alliance and Horde on the neutral auction house, you need to use two separate accounts. The characters of opposing factions must each be on a different account. Without 2 accounts, you are limited to selling items directly on the auction house (at Booty Bay etc.) directly to other players - which limits your profit potential somewhat. I describe how to do all of this in great detail in the Blueprint

I tried out your praire dog method and it works great in my server. I made over 100 gold off from them in 1 hour or so selling for 10 gold. I got some more tips that work for me if you dont know already. Let me know if your intrested. but where do I go to get the blueprints? again, your your one method works great, so I cant wait for you to tell me where to get them blueprints.

nice video good tips too but i had a question while you do the 30day gold run you had already some nice gold but how didt you do it from a few copper to some nice gold budget do you have a video on that
