Overview

This is a great companion add-on to use with Auctioneer. The best feature is using the “Buy” tab for setting up shopping lists. These lists make it easy to monitor the items you’ve got on your A- and B-lists of prospective pipelines. I also really like the “More” tab for keeping trace of where my current auctions are in comparison to the competition on the Auction House. I can easily find and cancel the auctions that I want to repost compared with the default interface where you have to scroll through all your auctions.

Update: Since this video was first made, Blizzard has changed their ToS to require a separate mouse click for each purchase in the Auction House, so the mass buy feature that was shown in this video is no longer available. Instead, when you highlight the item and click the buy button on the bottom of the interface window a smaller window will pop up where you will have to click buy, again. However, you can still save time when doing a massive buy because as long as there are more auctions in that same price range the second smaller window will stay open and you can keep clicking the buy button until you’ve bought the number of items you want.

dont forget that like yourself, i also post other auctions of the same type. some times ill be the lowest price (green check) sometimes ill be the higher price (red X), that will show you simultaniously with a green check over a red X, confusing to new users sometimes. other than that i love this addon

I’m not a fan of automated tools that take you “out” of the auction house, and try to do things for you. It’s a great way to lose gold and miss opportunities. That said… you can use Auction Profit Master in limited situations where you already know exactly what you want to do, and the automation can reduce a tedious task. Just be sure you actually track and post “manually” most of the time, so you don’t lose touch of what’s really happening (has the market changed since you set up your automated task?).

Personally… I don’t use Auction Profit Master or similar.
