I have found that the AH sorting functions are much, much less precise than one may like. So, the overstacking and understacking situations both are potential areas for making gold. On the flip side, I try to NEVER buy from the first tab, but go to the buy tab to insure I am seeing and buying the least expensive items available.

To illustrate, simply chose an item and sort by price (look at the percentages) when you go to the second, third, fourth, etc., pages you see that each page has the items sorted via price, but not necessarily sorted globally by price.

If you have individuals sort the first page, and you have the right price, or right stack size, you have a much better chance at the sale.

On the understacking, I have notice that on some items, ppl tend to purchase the larger stack sizes (like leather). I have posted several stack of wool or leather at a stack size of 20 which is the lowest price for 20 but maybe the 5-10th lowest price (in other words stacks of 1-19 are less than my stack) and before I can finish posting the rest of my items, I see a message indicating my stack(s) have/has sold. Which means, ppl don’t want to click an additional few clicks, or they see mine first and buy. Either way, I win!!
