One of the benefits of doing the Gold Speed Run V is I had the opportunity to come up with the best way to get a human to Booty Bay post Cataclysm and the fix of the “ghost run” bug. Here are the new videos showing how I do this. I have left up the original video (after the new videos), because I feel it explains the overall idea better than these short videos, but they show the best way to execute it.

This video is out of date due to changes with Cataclysm and the fix of the “ghost run” bug. However, I feel it still explains the concept quite well, so it is left here for reference purposes.
With Cata came a lot of changes, so this is much easier. Went from Elwyn to BB withoout a single death. Stayed on the road as much as possible and avoided mobs. Got to the coast and went up by the rear exit to Dm and across then jumped off the cliff and stayed way out away from the coast while swimming. Took me about 30 min.
Just did this by running and swimming. Pretty straightforward, took about 40 minutes. One death on the road in Westfall which was actually helpful as I rezzed at Sentinel Hill. I then ran to the new fp at Moonbrook and took a straight route from there to the coast just skirting north of the mountains. Had to be a little careful there to avoid the gnolls and birds. Run south along the cliffs at the coast to avoid the murlocs and then swim.
