This is out dated. You can’t get to any major city from Dalaran anymore. I’ve decided to level a mage to level 26 so I can go to all the cities [both Hord an Alliance]. I have read other comments and hope you find time to update. Am going over as a refresher and desire to improve my AH Alt.
Actually there *are* portals in Dalaran to Stormwind and Orgrimmar. Blizzard first removed all the portals, then restored just the SW and Org portals. Dalaran is still quite a good location for your main auction house toon.
Have another question. If I establish a character on the Alliance side, would I not have to have a main character on the Alliance side to benefit from my Human Priest? Reason being that it is my understanding the Alliance and Horde cannot communicate or interact with each other and I’m assuming this also includes mail. Also, I will have to create my main character prior to the Alliance alt as I don’t want my main leveling character in the Alliance operating as a priest. I’m more of the Rogue/Pally type. Thanks for your help and input!
The video needs updating with the addition of the free flight between Goldshire and Stormwind, makes the process much quicker for creating an alt ready to begin it’s life as an auctioneer.
With humans being able to be hunters this should be the class everyone should roll as an alt bank. With cata changes now you have to fight your way to herb nodes and this class makes it really easy because of the pet.
